Robinho Decides to Focus on Man City, As He Should

Robinho released a statement yesterday to the English newspaper "The Sun," stating that all he's focusing on this season is winning titles with Manchester City.

"The club has strengthened itself very well this year, we're putting out sights very high," said the Brazilian-born striker. "We've constructed a very strong team and can win anything. Now what we have to assimilate is that we have to be strong mentally, it's the only thing we lack in fighting for titles."

In reference to Barca's interest in him, he responded the way every player responds when they're told that Barca is interested in them.

"Who wouldn't want to play for Barcelona? They're a great team," he told Sport.es.

This kid better just focus on his team right now, because they'll need it. I wonder what kind of reaction, if any, and ex-Real Madrid player would draw from the Spanish crowds if he did end up signing for Barcelona.

I'm definitely going to follow this story as it develops.
