Adebayor "Confused," Eduardo Ban Reversed.

In two cases at opposite ends of the justice system, UEFA repealed the two match ban it had placed on Arsenal striker Eduardo, who had previously been handed the ban for a perceived dive in the box while trying to avoid a slide tackle from the Celtic goalie during a CL league playoff, which Arsenal eventually won.

UEFA released a statement saying that based on the various typed of evidence there was no clear way to tell if Eduardo meant to deceive the refs or avoid injury. I'm sure Celtic isn't going to be happy about this, but there's not much they can do.

In other news, Emmanuel Adebayor, my new most-hated player (excepting anyone who plays for Real Madrid), is playing the idiot in the case the Football Association (FA) is investigating dealing with his obviously Pepe-induced rage against former teammate Robin Van Persie of Arsenal. The Man City striker literally tried to stomp on Van Persie's face, leaving a huge gash on his cheek, less than an inch from his eye. He might also be handed out a punishment for his excessive celebration of his goal against Arsenal, which he says he did because Arsenal fans were taunting him throughout the game. Well, Manny, can I call you Manny? If I was an asshole to my team and left for more money, I'm pretty sure I'd taunt you as well.

Adebayor, in his infinite wisdom (or a really good publicist), is denying any and all knowledge of the excessive celebration, or the strike against Van Persie. "I do not know what I have done wrong to get banned."

Well, Manny, let's think about this. You STOMP on the face of a player, then you taunt the fans who were taunting you. That's so mature. Let's also add in there that because of your actions there was a huge backlash during the game that the fans had to be held back by crowd control. One of the stewards were injured while trying to contain the crowd.

I'm sorry but I really hope Adebayor gets a pretty harsh punishment for this. I have no tolerance for players who intentionally hurt other players- and doing that to one of your former teammates is just low-class.
