Ribery Staying at Bayern. When Was this an Actual Issue?

Did anyone actually believe that Bayern Munich was going to let Franck Ribery go? I didn't, especially after Real Madrid, who was looking to purchase him, got two of the most sought-after players in the world this summer. Besides, Ribery is Bayern's best striker. And in the beginning of the transfer season he was talking about going to Barcelona (although, after their treble win, who wasn't?). So I'm thinking maybe Real didn't push as hard as they should have because they had two players, Ronaldo and Kaka, who apparently had "lifelong dreams" to play with Real, so they went for them instead. But that's just my thoughts. Also, Bayern had a decent run last season, but that was after firing their coach, Jurgen Klinsmann, after less than a year of coaching. They've had their worst start in 43 seasons this season, as well!

As long as Ribery keeps some sort of hope alive, there is no way he's going to the spoiled child with one too many toys in their toy chest.
