A Limited-Time Offer

I finally found a decent highlight reel of the goals Spain scored yesterday. Not sure how long it's going to stay on YouTube, though. Enjoy.

Silva (#18) has the first goal, making a beautiful run down the center of the 18yd box to receive a pass from Villa(?). He cuts to the left and lays a left-footed shot into the far corner.

Villa (#7) had the second goal. It was a strong right-footed shot from the left side- he cut into the middle from the left to beat a defender and fired the shot from just at the 18yd line.

Pique (#3), who scored the third goal, received a pass from Villa and shot from about the penalty spot. He was completely unmarked except for a little late pressure but got the shot off anyway, which slipped right past Belgium's goalie.

The fourth goal is my favorite, even if it was quite simple, like all of the other goals. Arbeloa (#16) makes a run down the right side and passes it slightly backwards to Silva who blasts the ball from the top of the arc (that's like, 25 yds minimum) and it's gorgeous. He also did it with his left foot. My mission is to find out of this guys is a leftie or just really ambidextrous.

David Villa scores the fifth, getting a lateral pass from Fabregas (#10) who encountered pressure from the goalie just inside 18yds. He laid it in nicely, but if you watch the play from the beginning, I'm pretty sure Villa was offside when Fabregas received the ball, so wouldn't that still make him offside when he gets the pass from Fabregas? Oh well. It was a nice goal nonetheless.

Like I said, UEFA and FIFA are pretty good about catching these highlight reels on YouTube so enjoy it while it lasts. If you miss the video, I described the goals as best I could.
