Barcelona Shatters Atletico Madrid

I read mixed reviews on Barcelona 5-2 slaughter of Atletico Madrid. For the fans, this is great news. Barcelona is still as-yet unbeaten and Ibrahimovic and Messi are clearly starting to connect. It's difficult for any team in La Liga to score 5 goals (unless you count Barcelona's humiliating win over Real Madrid last year, when they won 6-2. I count that). Regardless, they're obviously doing something right.

However, from a technical point of view, coach Pep Guardiola is asking more from Barcelona in the future. Guardiola notes that at many times Barca did not control the game. They were too intense, refusing to slow down the pace of the game.

"As a trainer, this game doesn't enthuse me. We didn't control it. We failed to control many plays and take the ball."

Well, all I can say is that if Barcelona won 5-2 and Guardiola is complaining about them not controlling the game, I'm scared to see what they can do when they ARE controlling the game.
