Results of this Weekend

I hope you all had a lovely Halloween weekend. Some of our friends overseas did not.

La Liga
Barcelona 1-1 Osasuna
Osasuna snagged a point from the match after a last-minute own goal from Pique leveled teammate Keita's goal in the 72nd minute. That had to be intensely frustrating for Barca, who are now only 1 point ahead of 2nd place Real

Real Madrid 2-0 Getafe
Argentinian international Gonzalo Higuain found the net twice in 3 minutes (53', 56') for Real, who had no trouble with mid-table Getafe.

Atletico Madrid 1-0 Athletic Bilbao
Atletico lost. What else is new? Even with the new trainer, Atletico is officially in the bottom 3- the relegation zone, if they can't do anything to fix it.

English Premier League
Arsenal 3-0 Tottenham
The Gunners cruised to an easy win over the Spurs, with the help of Robin Van Persie (42', 60') and Cesc Fabregas (43') who scored for the Gunners. Arsenal now sits in 3rd place, 3 points behind Manchester United.

Chelsea 4-0 Bolton
Frank Lampard, Deco, Zat Knight (own goal), and Didier Drogba all netted 2nd half goals for the Blues to put them back in 1st place.

Manchester United 2-0 Blackburn
Dimitar Berbatov and Wayne Rooney drove the win home for United, both scoring in the 2nd half. Utd. is 3 points behind leaders Chelsea in the table.
